Statement

Think, play, create; how to describe my process of production.

First; a challenge that requires overcoming: begin preliminary research to assess needs, requirements, and avenues to solutions.

Second; begin play with the earlier findings in the real world, in real situations, with real individuals, who provide real insight and feedback.

Third; distill knowledge acquired by previous steps and create a solution, using the best knowledge and skills available, to the original challenge.

Rinse and repeat, as required, to desired results.

Battle Top Entertainment

Battle Top Entertainment is a project I have been working on for nearly 4 years. It began as a desire to reintroduce myself to the hobby while also a vehicle to challenge and hone my digital media design skills.

Since the online brand was created it has amassed over 2000 followers on Instagram as well as over 2500 YouTube subscribers. Between the two platforms Battle Top Entertainment has reached nearly two million lifetime views.

The brand is regularly being reiterated and refreshed to maintain quality engagement, reach out to new audiences, and convert new subscribers and followers.

Battle Top Entertainment mainly produces high-quality, high production value short form Beyblade Battle content. I have found massive success commentating elite live Beyblade events: World Championships 2025, and X-treme Cup 2026, and moderate success producing English Dubs of official Japanese Developer Review videos.

Carpets + More for Less

Originally I was brought on by Carpets + More for Less to redesign their out-of-date website and increase their online presence and authority as a local flooring retailer.

This role quickly evolved into a Digital Marketing and Design role where I found myself rapidly creating new brands for flooring; designing product boxes, preparing digital product images, creating product websites, writing and editing sales, informational, warranty, installation, and promotional content.

I was also in charge of the Online Marketing strategy where Facebook and YouTube were utilized to promote and advertise sales events, new products arriving, and public announcements. I would also create video advertisments; which tended to be the bulk of the campaigns the company ran.

I would also create promotional materials for sales events and new product arrivals. Primarily one page flyers that could be digitally or physically distributed.

LSL Distributors

I worked with LSL Distributors to build an e-commerce enabled website and create their online presence, as well as greatly increase their authority on Google search for local tire sales.

Their inventory included over 1000 unique items; which had to be properly sorted, tagged, have product descriptions created, and images sourced for the online catalog.

LSL Distributors was delivered a complete, functional website, with nearly every item from their inventory listed. The future plan was to use that system for inventory control and accounting.

I also created promotional materials (tire list flyers for digital and physical distribution) many times.

Louis Riel Arts & Tech Centre Alumni

The LRATC Alumni website was the final project and deliverable of my 2018 New Media Design Certificate Program at Louis Riel Arts and Technology Centre.

I worked with a team to coordinate the build and deploy it to our clients needs and specifications.

Most of the original elements of the design have been changed since the websites initial launch in late 2017 but my influence can still be seen in the Success Stories Hero Images (a design I created in Photoshop and provided a template and design guide for).
